Exercise and Stretching for Growth

There are many types of exercise that can help promote growth.  These exercises stimulate production of the human growth hormone and increase your body strength, posture and muscle tone.  Stretching exercises lengthen muscles and the body’s frame; by practicing good posture you are lengthening your body, strengthening your muscles helps to maintain the lengthened frame.  Swimming, sprinting and inversion exercises are also good for body lengthening and muscle toning.  As you exercise, run or stretch add additional weight to your body as you can handle it such as ankle weights or hand weights.  The additional weight will help stretch and strengthen the muscles farther allowing for more growth.

Diet and Supplements to Help You Grow Taller

Proper diet and nutrition contribute to your ability to gain height and for your body to grow, develop and repair itself in all areas.  A multivitamin is a great place to begin but a multivitamin is just part of the solution.  You need to maintain a healthy diet with additional supplements of calcium, vitamin B, zinc and chromium.  Eating vegetables and fruits will supply some of these nutrients but if you are trying to grow taller you may require more than you can get from them alone.  There are also HGH supplements available on the market today.  You should research before taking any supplements and check with your physician especially if you are currently taking medications or have any chronic medical conditions as some do interfere with other medications.

Adequate Rest

If your body lacks enough sleep which is its recovery and repair period you may affect the production of the human growth hormone.   The HGH or human growth hormone is responsible for growing cells, bones, muscles and organs. The recommended amount of sleep is 8 hours each night to produce adequate amounts of the hormone.

Remember growth does not occur overnight it will take dedication to your plan to achieve results.  Do not measure yourself every day.  Take an accurate measurement of your height prior to beginning your program and then about once every month at the same time of day to determine if your efforts are making a difference in your height.
