Metamorphic Technique for Healing and Development

The Metamorphic Technique for healing and development is a fascinating facet of alternative and complementary medicine that seeks to help people physically and personally. The program looks at healing as a natural function of the body, or as “self-healing” and it incorporates elements of personal development into the process. The Complementary Healthcare Information Service has generous information about the Metamorphic Technique.

Metamorphosis

A metamorphosis is a change that can involve any facet of life. Individuals often fall into patterns of behavior that are limiting in nature. These limitations are merely illusions but they are quite powerful in the imagination. The pattern continues, as the individual sees no other way of being.

Metamorphosis is necessary in order to break out of the systematic pattern that you have become so accustomed to. This does not mean that you are changing any aspect of yourself. The changes that occur involve health, perception and development.

The individual retains his or her nature, and there is no changing of the “self”. The focus is on helping you reach your fullest potential in the physical, professional and interpersonal realms.

How Do Negative Patterns Manifest?

Negative patterns can manifest in a number of ways, creating considerable problems in health and overall well-being. Some ways that the patterns may appear include but are not limited to:

• Mental illness
• Physical illness
• Emotional problems
• Poor habits
• Self-imposed limitations
o Relationships
o Career path
o Hobbies and interests
o Physical abilities

What happens is the thoughts, emotions and beliefs that the individual carries each has inherit energy force. The repetition of the negative thoughts, emotions and beliefs cause a powerful pattern of energy that must be changed in order to break the self-imposed barriers that lead to problems with health and mental wellbeing.

Using the Metamorphic Technique

The Metamorphic Technique seeks to change the direction of the energy forces within the body through therapeutic interventions. The patient visits with a practitioner who uses spinal reflex points found in the head, hands and feet in light touch therapy. This process is not invasive, allowing the energy to move naturally and without the will of the practitioner as an influence.

The practitioner does not heal, diagnose or treat any particular symptom or illness. The idea is to allow the energy force within the body to be released, promoting self-healing. The safe approach is a nice complement to orthodox medicine and psychological interventions.

Discussing the option with your primary care physician is always a good idea. The nature of the Metamorphic Technique is very subtle, offering an excellent form of relaxation and redirection. The changes that take place occur automatically, and without effort.

It is important to note that this approach is not a replacement for any orthodox medical interventions deemed necessary by your physician. The program does not serve to diagnose or treat any specific condition. It is ideally used to help the body to heal itself with the assistance of any medical techniques determined by a doctor.
