There are many natural remedies for this, such as meditation and affirmations, but you can also use naturally occurring substances, such as essential oils to boost memory.
Essential Oils to Improve Your Memory
One of the best essential oils for improving the memory is Essential Oil of Rosemary. It is important to know that scientific testing has shown that while rosemary does enhance the memory, it does also slow your responses. This is why more people rely on Essential Oil of Sage capsules that are taken orally.
Essential Oil of Sage has always been a winner when it comes to memory and brain function, and it has been tested scientifically. It is safe to consume this essential oil in capsule form as well, and when it comes time to get your memory in gear, you should consume two capsules. Consume another two capsules when it comes time to repeat what you’ve memorized, such as when you take a test.
Essential Oils to Avoid
While Essential Oil of Lavender is great for a number of things, laboratory tests have shown that those who expose themselves to this aroma actually have more problems remembering things and concentrating. Lavender, after all, is considered to be a relaxing aroma, and it is often used to relieve stress or to improve sleep. Cedarwood should also be considered. It isn’t a memory essential oil, but it does promote clear thinking, which in turn will have an impact on your memory. Jasmine is another essential oil that can clear your thinking, and these should be used along with sage, rosemary, peppermint, and eucalyptus. They can be inhaled, applied to the skin, or taken internally.
