Energy Medicine

The complexities of energy medicine are great, and the work harkens to great researchers, including Stephen Hawking and David Peat. Brilliant minds of the New Physical Science recognize that there are occurrences that are unexplainable, but they do exist. Among the most compelling in this field are matter, the universe, and energy.

Biorhythms are nothing new and they have been studied for thousands of years. Eastern cultures have embraced the notion that organs and body systems give off vibrations. As Western cultures began to understand the nature of energy and matter better, new fields of studies began to develop.

Energy medicine dawned in the mid 1970′s when a team of scientists from Russia was developing ways to keep cosmonauts healthy while they traveled in space. Their studies led to a new discipline, Bioresonance. The field revolves around a mechanism that uses pulsating energy resonance.

Energy medicine comes in a variety of forms, and is known by a wide range of names. But if you consume enough information on the subject, it becomes apparent that it all revolves around quantum physics, or mind-over-matter, which is essentially stated by Victor Stenger, PhD, at the Colorado State Medical Center. Energy medicine is essentially putting the mind in tune with the body for healing purposes.

Bioresonance

Bioresonance focuses on the natural vibrations in the universe and within living things. Just as matter is constantly moving, it is constantly vibrating as well. Individuals may not feel the movement or the vibrations, but they do exist. Vibrations resonate from every element that enters the body, changing the frequency of the individual’s natural patterns of vibrations.

When people take in toxins, their bodies are not in accord with the frequencies of these elements. Consider vocal vibrations as an example. Two voices that are not in harmony disrupt the song. Toxic elements give off vibrations that are out of sync with the vibrations of the body. This disharmony has a profound effect on body functioning on a cellular level.

According to Dr. Mehmet Oz, on Oprah, the two practices that give the most weight to energy medicine, and include this type of healing along with other healing practices is Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Cellular Frequencies

Cells within the body must communicate with one another using their natural frequencies. When disharmonious elements enter the body, they disrupt the cells’ ability to communicate with one another effectively. The cells within the systems of the body are unable to function properly without their characteristic frequencies.

Energy medicine seeks to help restore the harmony within the cells of the body. Once the cells are able to communicate effectively and the vibrations within the body are in accord, the individual experiences improved health, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Energy Medicine is slowly becoming recognized as a true healing method, and schools such as Energy Medicine University are becoming more popular, while traditional colleges and universities are also now starting to offer courses, if not degree programs in energy medicine as well.

Harmful Vibrations

Toxins are not the only elements that can cause the body’s vibrations to go out of sync. Imbalance can occur due to a number of different factors. Some elements are tangible while others are not. Tangible or not, each can have a significant impact on the body’s natural frequencies.

• Stress
• Negative thought patterns
• Poor nutrition
• Dehydration
• Negative emotional states

An individual may be able to improve frequencies by adopting healthy eating patterns and by properly hydrating the body. However, the intangible elements may be more difficult to address.

Effects of Imbalanced Frequencies

The effects of the disharmony are often readily recognized. The individual may succumb to illness rather easily, and may require more time to fight off infections. Other effects may include giving off “bad vibes” that are difficult to explain but easily recognized by others.

Everything has energy, including thoughts and emotions. The body’s organs, tissues, and cells have oscillations specific to their function. Interventions like Bioresonance Feedback can help restore the harmonious frequencies that naturally occur in the body. The approach uses energy to repair and restore energy with resounding results.

According to the Ohio State Medical Center, energy medicine can include Reiki, Johrei, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, and Polarity Therapy. The school also gathered data from the National Center for Health concerning a study that had been done and found that 1 percent of the participants of the study had used Reiki, 0.5% had used qi gong, 4.6% had used some other type of healing ritual, and that 30% of the participants had asked others to pray for their health.
