As when any famous individual faces an untimely demise, after Billy Mays died, many guessed that some outside force caused his demise. In this case, the pitchman was thought to have suffered a concussion after experiencing a difficult landing in an airplane.
The tires of the plane blew out; making the entire vessel hit the runway with tremendous force. The force caused objects to fall, some of when landed on Mr. Mays’ head. While he had joked that he had a “hard head” many believed that the impact caused a rupture in the blood vessels near the brain.
