The ability to help others with their life goals or visions is very special gift that not many people have. Regardless of this special gift, however, if you want to do this for a living you will need certification. Online life coach courses are extremely convenient, in that you can work and attend school at the same time. Additionally, many programs will give you the ability to attend school online while practicing as a life coach who is in the process of gaining certification.
Gaining your life coach training and certification through an online course does not in anyway diminish your skill, or your future earning abilities. Many online life coach courses are accredited through the International Coaching Federation, or ICF, and this accreditation is extremely important for your future as a life coach. As with any other type of online education, you will need to possess a high degree of self discipline in order to be successful in your training.
Life coaches make decent salaries, ranging anywhere from $100 per hour on up to $250 per hour or more. The amount that you will make in this profession depends a great deal on your experience, on your specialization, and on the clientele that you market your services to. There is a wide range of opportunity and choices for life coach specialization and you will need to make sure that the program that you choose covers the area that you wish to specialize in. As a life coach, the working conditions are usually quite pleasant and comfortable, but you will need to be flexible in the hours that you set for work, as your clients will have their own schedules as well.
