Causes of Conception

Well this is an easy one, it begins with the story about the birds and the bees. Conception occurs when a sperm from the male fertilizes the egg of the female. This begins a process called pregnancy. This can be done the old fashion way or through the miracle of science. Either way this occurs the result is a baby after about 9 months of incubation in the female’s uterus.

When is Medical Interventions Needed

If you have been trying for a while to conceive or if you have a family medical history or personal medical history that could make conception difficult a OB/GYN should be consulted as you begin to try to conceive.

There are a number of tools and medications that a doctor has at his disposal to help a couple to conceive. Some of these options include:

  • IVF
  • Egg Donation

A doctor will be able to guide you through the process of conception and hopefully help you get the results you are looking for in the most natural way possible.
